Delivery service is regulated under Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission, Act 649 2003. As part of their mandate, they are to license any company or person engaged in Courier Services. But as a result of lack of market for courier services, the law wasn’t enforced until recently.For me I think this is not the way to go. The commission must first educate the people and grant them opportunity to register their businesses before they start impounding them.

In Ghana when you need a support to start a business, there won't be any support from either the government or individual. But once you succeed that is when you will hear all these kind of stories. Delivery services has been in the system for long i haven't seen any education about this on TV or radio stations. They will just appear from no where and be imposing unnecessary laws and taxes that will consume all your profits.
