I think it goes back to preference does not equal exclusion - you can prefer someone with your identity but when you say you “won’t” date someone of another… you’re saying the whole group is all the same which isn’t true

Over here in the UK everybody wants to date a les, but if you say you’re les4les, not only will they call you biphobic, they will also call you transphobic for rejecting ‘transwomen’ there’s almost no bi4bi here.

you don’t see bi4bi people saying “i would never date a lesbian bc (insert harmful lesbophobic stereotypes)” but the les4les conversation has been dominated with reasons why it’s okay to be averse to bi women. i love videos where lesbians explain why they love other lesbians, not why they hate bi women. that’s the difference. les4les isn’t inherently biphobic tho, and you can be bi4bi in a lesbophobic way as well if it’s about an aversion to lesbians rather than a love of bisexuals. it goes both ways

we shouldn’t be policing what other women do especially lesbian women. Also doesn’t matter why a lesbian is les4les. If she said she is that should be the end of it. Everyone is becoming extremely creepy towards lesbians, more than normal 😭
