@blueacregarden: But if you pruned in late fall or early spring that one is on you! #gardening #gardening101 #hydrangea #hydrangeaseason #gardeningforbeginners
I planted 6 little lime hydrangeas last fall and they did not grow at all. In fact they look like they are barely hanging on with just some small green leaves. They are getting enough water, what could be the cause? Could it be the soil I planted them in is not good?

Your dress is beautiful! Also thank you for all of the wonderful information. I love growing and planting but hit a wall with how and when to deadhead and “clean up” my plants.

A frost cloth is helpful for this when a late freeze happens. It can be used from year to year and isn’t too expensive. Johnnys had them on sale sometimes for good quality.

I have a pink lemonade cone hydrangea tree, and how do you prevent the new wood from shooting out creating long/weak branches?

Is this the same for peonies? Our spring in ME was brutal and I noticed a lot of damaged buds

I just cut my maple tree down. Will my hydrangeas have issues now that there is no shade next summer.
