Communication and reassurance is all you have so try your best to remind them they’re the only one and that you love them . Communicate your needs and validate theirs. Understand your situation and make the best of it

Communication. Having complete trust. Don’t obsess over the little things. Make sure you are both seeing each other at least once a month. Think about the future and don’t keep any secrets. You’ve got this.

for real, we did ft everyday no matter what. we watched movies together, played games. its all about keeping it interesting and not just “how was your day. you need to reassure eachother and communicate.

Having trust in each other!!! We didn’t even FaceTime/call every day because of our schedules with school but staying busy helps and reassurance as well. We are going into our second year of long distance and I am not worried at all because last year we did it so well so after the first year it def gets better, and even after like the first month it gets better honestly because not to like sound bad but you do kind of get used to not seeing each other and you learn to be okay with it. It also helps knowing the next time u will see each other so you can have a countdown. Last year I stayed at home for community college and all of my friends + boyfriend left and I feel like that made it hard just bc I was soooo lonely with nobody but I moved this year and I think esp if u have people around u to distract it helps a lot too.

We survived long distance for 4 years before finally cutting the distance. It is a great time to practice communication and dependance. Most relationships will not work regardless if you're not growing in the same direction, but with long distance, you can work on your futures together even if you're miles apart. Teamwork, to summarize. To stay connected, take the time to plan your moments and futures together, still plan things that you can do together through screens, and send each other packages, gifts, and letters regularly as a reminder that what you have is just as real as you feel it to be. Take the time to ask and give reassurance as often as needed, no matter what you both deserve reassurance whenever. Well wishes
