IQ isn't just speed its data width. My father had jury duty. There where 100 people in the room and he was one of the last if not the last to finish. He asked me why? I responded promptly it's because they weren't thinking about the questions nor do they care. You where thinking about the consequences of answering wrong what they all mean and the different possibilities of outcomes.. I said the data they processed and the data you processed where not the same. Like a essay and one person fills out 1 page and turns it in meanwhile another writes 10 and turns it in shortly after. 1mb vs 10mb.

There is no single definition of IQ. One could argue that compulsory pattern recognition without a goal to achieve and even potentially being self damaging is not very intelligent.
