So why would a professor in California make less than me who works for my state as an eligibility worker for welfare programs? Doesn’t add up to me. I bring home 3500-4k a month usually. I’m in a red state by the way that still has their minimum wage at 7.25 an hr. Seems raising the minimum wage just doesn’t help if you compare her and I.

All this really shows is that California is unaffordable. There's a lot of places where $2,500/month is doing fairly well. Is venture to say outside of any city
