how many bits? what off the shelf components did you use? what instruction set? super cool! last semester me and a small team designed a 32 bit risc v CPU (RV32IMF) down to making the ALU, decoder, pipeline registers, wires and everything but that only ever ran as a simulation. (I think this semester people worked on putting it in a FPGA which requires additional considerations, so it might actually have run IRL by now)
