Well articulated. The added agency spread across the masses is utopian in some sense. So amazing to see. Different types of concerns for vibe coding are valid. I try to keep being informed about the power/electricity usage of the tools I use, and even the things I eat, and I think that’s the tradeoff everyone should be mindful about.

And this here is what is wrong with software engineers, they forget that people don't start tech companies for them to enjoy coding, they are out to solve problems. Users don't care about your stack they care about their problems and how to fix them.
Any engineering endeavors is a means to an end not the end by itself.

Very relatable even though I was a 3D sculpting artist (with Zbrush) before AI. I took a bootcamp to learn the basics of coding, before I began coding with AI. I really love coding, but it’s bitter sweet.

I'm in the same boat. I am an actual software developer turned into a vibecoder. I love coding, it's fixing bugs that I dislike. I love architecting apps and having ai fix the bugs. No more worrying about the algorithm gate keepers and no more fear of building apps solo. I'm an entrepreneur and it took ai to reveal that to me 😎
