Man, I grew up priming tobacco. The lugs were brutal on your back, but when you got to the tops, whooo! We were in heaven, standing straight. It was amazing. This was late 60’s/early 70’s.

In the Pacific Northwest, we have an extra broadleaf variety that was grown here to wrap furs for ship travel in the 19th century, since tobacco is a natural insecticide. It’s still grown at Ft Vancouver.

Where I come from it’s all we had to survive. It’s hard work not a lot of return government bought it out guess it got ride of most of us. I reckon ever thing has a way of working out. I feel for ya👍
