@anna.fenstermacher: Replying to @Gracie Abercrombie okay I’m actually an idiot and didn’t look close enough at the app, but now I need my frequent flyers to weigh in and let me know if @delta premium select is worth it??? #internationalflights
ewe, for a long flight Id do it. overnight, yes. Ill always (if I can) pay for an upfrade to be comfy on a long flight.

No. Premium economy for that price is NOT worth it.

If it was $200 then yes. 700 no. They don’t recline that much and the foot rest isn’t that noticeable tbh. Comfort plus would be a better option if it isn’t crazy.

I don’t think it’s worth it tbh

Maybe not. Depends on how well you sleep in a seat. The lie flat seat is always worth it but I'm not sure about the mid tier.

Nope! Flown premium select many many times and it’s not worth $800 for a 9 hr flight! I didn’t even pay that much for it 17hrs Johannesburg to ATL. If it was Delta One for sure!

I would rather put that money toward a bag versus premium select

I really like Premium Select, but $799 is too much. If it was $399 that would be worth it.

I travel overseason four to six times a year and it is absolutely NOT worth it for premium select/premium economy. I generally always travel business now but when i first started traveling I travelled economy or premium economy. $800 is gouging

Agree with everyone here. I’ve flown Delta comfort + and premium select to London over night twice this year from Alabama. The peemium select was nice, but nowhere near worth that!

I think that’s a good price to France. Paid $900+ to Japan next month for regular economy

No, $799 for Premium Select is NOT worth it. It's more comfortable, but not a huge difference

No 🫶🏽 I flew premium select to Scotland and they are more room but it was not work $800 additional. Save that for an exprenced or upgrade to delta 1 if you can swing it

Not for premium select. A couple hundred would be worth it for the premium select though.

Ugh bummer! That’s not worth it, but still ask about delta one at the airport! See if they do a discounted 1st class

It’s a bigger seat but it’s not even close to the level of first class. It’s nice but not a significant difference

If you have the extra money I would do it but if not economy is fine. I’m a normal flyer and I do 1-2 international trips a year and I enjoy upgrading myself. Last year I upgraded my sister because she’s a school teacher and doesn’t get to travel often. Sometimes I ask for the upgrade price at the desk because those can be the best prices.

Is it a direct flight? We are flying to Barcelona and the long haul part of our flight is ATL to CDG (Paris) and we chose premium select BUT with that we got first class on both of our connections (Philly to atl and CDG to Barcelona) and it was only a $400 upgrade for both of our seats- so worth it for us! But it is our honey moon hahaha

It’s not worth it for almost $800! I’ve been able to upgrade to premium select for $200 and business for ~$600-900. You should check again at check-in to see if it goes down!
