My mom was always jealous of everything I had & did. She was jealous about my relationship with my nanny, my relationship with any romantic relationship, me living Nextdoor to my mother-in-law. She would be so mean to me when she came up to visit & then be so sweet when she got home & say how much she loved being up her & how much she missed me. She was bipolar & I try to use that as an excuse why she treated me that way, but it isn’t. She passed away last October & I miss her terribly & I wish we could have had a better relationship than we did. She had me at 16 so maybe she felt like I stole her life or opportunity for a different life, but she picked terrible men & chose them over me my entire life, then be jealous of everything I had. It was sad & still makes me sad.

To be jealous of your own child, the way that she went about it that’s ugly. Now on the flipside, I will say that I am jealous of my kids. But I’m jealous for the fact that they are far more successful than I was at their age. I don’t hold it against them. I’m proud of them and I’m proud to be jealous of that fact if this all makes sense, there’s a difference, right

I have someone in my life who does that… if I so much as speak about a product, immediately goes and buys it. Uses phrases I use to sound emotionally intelligent, when they’re the opposite 🤔 like if you wanna BE me, just say so?
