So here is a PERFECT EXAMPLE - knives, guns, cars...it doesn't matter. Mental Health is the issue!! Our kids need help. Violence is on TV, in cartoons, movies, TV, YouTube...etc. Our kids are desensitized to ALL OF IT. This is the issue. The "act" of violence always comes back to the person and what has driven them to be violent. Do you all have any restrictions on your kids phones??? If not, they are SEEING EVERYTHING without any balance. That is where it starts ....

It should be mandatory to bring clear backpacks to school , and wear uniforms!!! Also install metal detectors and depending on the rating of the schools, specially middle and high school everyone should get searched !!

They should be scanning students by now. With all the chaos going on. All campuses should have a weapon detector when they walk in to the building.

my son's school has a security belt as soon as they enter. scanned and security guard checks their bags. as they should.
