I arrived to college in 1994 with two duffle bags and no parents. 29 years later, I just dropped off my daughter at college and she had enough stuff to fill two small cars. There is growth in struggle, spread your wings and go get your dreams. Best of luck.

This makes me think that colleges should have local parents on standby to fill in when needed. Everyone needs parents to wipe down all the things and build all the things and tell you they’re so proud of you. I’m sorry you were robbed of this experience.

I can’t go anymore because mine lied and said she was helping me pay for it and when it was time to pay the first payment she said she wasn’t gonna pay or help with anything and I didn’t have scholarships or fafsa money to pay
