What he said is true, but not necessarily all negative. My parents responded differently to all of us, (5). But they all showed us the same amount of love and care. Different love.

I agree wholeheartedly but we need to stop generalizing that the eldest always carries the weight. That’s not always true. As the younger sibling, roles in families aren’t fixed it’s not always this or that.
