That’s communism, not socialism. Communism pays everyone the same, making it so there’s no reason to work harder because you get no benefit. In socialism you can work harder, you can get more money but once you get to a point you’ll get taxed more because nobody on this planet needs $1B. Because of this the government gets more money, and they give back to the people, and the people benefit from the money with healthcare and better living conditions. Socialism still has richer people, they just don’t have billionaires because (again) nobody needs that much money, it’s almost impossible to spend.

Socialism isn't wrong because it disincentivizes work. Socialism is wrong because it requires mass brutalization. Human beings do not have equal productive capacity and the only way to achieve your vision of "equity" is through massive authoritarian power.

We saw communism and socialism in 2020-2022. Gov paid everyone to stay home. When everyone can buy what they want, inflation goes through the roof. The only economy that works is working and earning your share.

The issue with socialism is that it doesn’t recognize the truth that allows capitalism to work (even though capitalism itself Barry works), that being there are infinite wants, all indistinguishable from what people need, and finite resources to try to solve these. No matter what, people will try to get every want and need they could have, and the only thing that stops them from actually stealing is the fact there is a way to direct it that doesn’t leave people as destitute.

Your starting off in the middle of the story. The wealth has already been made when you begin. Change the entire system and see if that wealth still materializes. Funny how you agree how “rich” the country is and that in itself agreed with free markets

That is a great graphic explained. Well I think the problem is that a good mini people‘s answer to it is chopped down the rich one I think the correct answer should be lifted up lower and not with welfare programs. It’s a tough question and 1/2 you don’t want All the wealth concentrated in a small group too much power and power corrupts on the other hand if you give too much to one group that hasn’t earned it or worked for it, you’re not helping them you’re hurting them and you’ll create generations of dependence that don’t contribute to society. It is a tough question. What to do.

This distribution is the same for socialism, communism, capitalism, monarchy etc. look at a history book. You had/have rich people in the USSR, China, Cuba, Venezuela. No matter the system some people will figure out how to do better than others. It is folly thinking you can make people equal.
