I became aware of this in 2018 when we had water issues in my rural area I had to intervene and I was told water truck owners are the one causing the problem in municipalities long story short.I sent a every clear question with an intention of follow through. the next day trucks were supplying water mind you I phone late babezoba ne meeting. this country is in a huge mess shame on those who are political parties 1st before being South Africans they are our problem

In my area we used to have water shortage almost every weekend , they would send water trucks , one day I mentioned on the community group something similar to what you saying, guess what , the “water shortage “ situation started to change , now all of a sudden there is water every weekend in our taps

Tenders can’t be stopped and we have to accept that. There just has to be a better management system in place with the issuing of these tenders and constant feedback on how the services are rendered.
