Made more than that on Veiga, Bought for 14m, loan fee of 4m from Juventus in Jan and 29.5m sale fee now. That's 19.5m euros which is nearly £17m. Plus the potential of making even more with sell on which I've seen reported between 35 and 40%

Chelsea’s whole project wasn’t to win straight away it’s the youngest squad in prem history the project is to dominate football for the next ten years with the best young talents in the world and if the players weren’t good enough they would be sold for more money than we paid there’s so many nobody’s didn’t even play a game for Chelsea and they’ve flipped them for massive profit like angelo 20 mil we’ve always been the best selling club in the world and the core of our team just going to get better and better and we’ll win more and more money and spend more and more to take us even further ahead of the rest and that is the project I saw it from a mile away and anyone who thought it wouldn’t click eventually was in denial. In terms of how much we spent yes it’s a lot but some of those players are assets we’re going to flip who prob won’t even play a game some of them we already have made money on some of them we will make a loss on and some of them will be our starters for the next ten years. Glad you recognising you may have been wrong. There will be plenty more sales at good prices and for every player we lose money on there will be a Jackson who helped us for a couple years and gets sold for over double.

It’s cos everytime Chelsea sell a Broja for 20m you call it the final nail in the coffin. For every Doak Liverpool sell to Bournemouth 25m, crickets.

I’m interested what you based your previous opinion on? I think it’s always been subjective if someone thinks it will work out the way the clubs demands in terms of sporting success on the pitch, but financially, I don’t see how one would believe it wouldn’t work out? Young talented players for cheap fees and wages will never be a bad economic investment no?

They have made more money for the players they have sold over the past 3 years from loan+sale fees than what they paid for them. This year they are also in profit from sales and buys. Add to that they negotiate adds ons and resale fees. Very smart business model.

You were wrong then and it shows. The reason they focus on young talent is because of their resale value. If they need to thin the squad, they still make profit on them. Madueke, Ugochukwu, Petrovic, even Jackson when he goes. They paid 50 mill for Palmer. He’d get what 150 mill now? Caicedo the same but they paid 105 mill. Yes, they’re still trying to clear deadwood from before this project (Chilwell, Sterling) but overall, it’s been a booming and indisputable success
