@concretecatandgaia: thank you all so much. this has been really hard on me even though it was just a kitten, it was a life to me that was lost. but we definitely made sure that he knew he was loved and safe. I really hate that these things happens, but it's a part of life sadly. and thank you to my sister and husband for how much you helped him too and stayed with him when I couldn't.
