Maybe she should start a garden center in her hometown. She’s good at soil biology and probably amending. Seems easy enough to plant plants, grow them and sell them. Even help people with plant problems due to soil issues. She’s just not taking any initiative.

So you actually get a useful degree and you dont want to move to use it. Did she not research the job before she got it? Maybe try to get a job with the USGS? I hear this all the time. I got a degree in a field that pays well but I dont want to go where the jobs are. How many doctors don't really want to move but they do because thats where the job offer is?
