Petrol is more responsive, faster, and actually sounds nice. I love diesels too for completely different reasons like fuel economy and towing but I'm still siding with petrol.

even if they make more power diesels are just so boring, sound like a tractor, u get 0 feeling when driving on a twisty road, the lag when u press the gas also is depressing

A decent diesel will be better than a standard petrol, but a good petrol will outlive a good diesel if maintained well. Just look at toyotas
