I used lubriderm once on a tattoo and it burned really bad so I stopped using it and started using hustle butter for when it’s really dry

I used Dove sensitive soap and cera ve lotion. Tattoo was healed in under 2 weeks. To be fair, I also used healing gel that the shop recommended/sold. Acted as a barrier to reduce infection risk

also a roll of paper towels to dab on the tattoo when drying! NO bath towels! Those carry lots of bacteria!

So I’m about to get a tattoo this Saturday, and bough that exact dial soap and read the ingredients and it actually lists parfum (fragrance) so I’m still on the hunt for a soap

i just use aquaphor for the first few days, unscented sensitive skin dial soap, pat dry with clean paper towel, and then cerave after like a week or so

Dial gold is definitely not unscented. I know it works for most people anyway, I just don't understand why we've all accepted calling it fragrance free when it isn't lol
