Five to six days a week I spend significant time not only during my training sessions but also at the end of the day breaking up scar tissue in various ways. I’ve developed severe fibrosis over time and this work is what has allowed me to get my health back and restore function to my shoulder. By making the scar tissue more pliable, my shoulder mechanics improve dramatically. The sound you’ll hear in this video is similar to the cracking and breaking I experience when that tissue releases. Each session makes the tissue more flexible, more functional, and allows my shoulder to move the way it’s supposed to. I have no cartilage in my right shoulder joint, so I rely on breaking up fibrosis to keep things moving properly. It’s been a relentless process, nine and a half years of daily work. I’m so much better now than when I started, and I’m getting closer every single day. If you believe in something and you know it’s working because you can feel it, because your body gives you feedback, never stop. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. The win for me is getting my health back for the rest of my life after losing it through most of my 30s. Now at 43, I have it back and I know it’s only going to keep getting better because I refuse to quit. You’ve got to want what you want more than you fear what you don’t. Keep going. Believe. Adapt. Evolve. Heal. This is my story. My journey. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More! #FeedMeMore #HungryMindset #NeverQuit #HealingJourney #ScarTissueRelease
