Just for the record I got a random check from the IRS three years later. I cashed it. lol. It was legit, but I got nothing in the mail saying they realized their mistake.

if government payments are all noted why can’t the officers contact someone to confirm a check was sent ? 🙄 and she’s supposed to have emails etc 3-4 years later especially when she said after she got a job and kinda forgot about it
