@myrtle_d_turtle: A group of Jewish tourists have been filmed dismantling a prominent cross on a Welsh mountainside and replacing it with a giant stone star. The 18-metre-long cross made of loose stones is thought to have stood for at least half a century on a hill below the summit of the Great Orme in Llandudno in North Wales, a popular tourist resort known throughout the region. So when footage emerged apparently showing a group of young people, some apparently in traditional garb, removing stones from the ancient Christian symbol, many were outraged. Adults who appeared to be among the group of young participants allegedly stood by and watched as the stones were moved. The incident has sparked outrage among locals, with many taking to social media to condemn the destruction of the cross on the hillside, popularly known as the "Hill of Names".
