I usually find when people misunderstand on purpose that it means they are benefiting somehow from their misunderstanding. For example something that Americans misunderstand: Arabs come from the Arabian Peninsula which is on the Asian Continent which technically makes all Arabs Asian. Semites come from the Northern African nations including Egypt and Palestine. Caucasians come from the Caucus Mountains aka Europe, Turkey, Russia, etc. Caucasian DNA (mine) has no clue what melanin is. The Near, Middle, and Far “East” refer to Asia. 95 % of the Jewish diaspora is either Ashkenazi and Sephardic which literally mean Caucasian (Eastern and Western European Jews respectively). You can convert your religion but you cannot convert your DNA.
