My doctor got my state insurance to approve it for my pcos. I’m in Wisconsin so don’t know if this helps but it took my doctor over 3 months to get approval but it did happen. I have been on it since 5/20 and I am approved to be on it for 2 years

I’ve heard it can be very beneficial for PCOS so I’d definitely tell them that’s what your doctor recommended it for!

Do you have sleep apnea by chance? Also your doctor can send it in with prior authorization to see if it’ll get accepted. If it does, let me know because I will switch to Molina quick 😂 I pay 300 a month for mine 🙃

I have community health plan and I keep getting denied but they can send you to the weight loss doctor and have a better chance of getting approved

I have Molina, and my wegovy is completely covered ! I went to my PP, after she diagnosed me with PCOS, she referred me to an endocrinologist and from there my endo ran tests and all that, I told her I’ve tried everything to lose weight! I was soooo close to trying a medication from Mexico called AXCION, and she told me hellll no do not try that! She recommended me a glp1, it was either wegovy or saxenda. I went with wegovy! First time I went on wegovy (this past February) I gave up after all the side effects! But decided to restart it again I am going on month 2 box 2 of the 0.25 this upcoming Sunday! I started at 192, I’m at 182 now
