I started with an EGD/colonoscopy which is how I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. PET this week, Port next week, then start chemo. We are on similar paths, best of luck and sending healing thoughts.

I have the same cancer and stage. My oncologist had me on chemo and Keytruda. Make sure you get immunotherapy along with the chemo. I just found out my cancer is in remission. Stay strong

Im a general surgeon who treats colon cancer (I also put a port in this morning as well). I am glad you were able to get the ball rolling on your work up and treatment. A lot of people on the internet will try to pitch various remedies (non standard treatments/supplements etc) that lack evidence in treating cancer. I encourage you to ask as much about your case/treatment with your physicians (oncologist/surgeon etc) as you can to be fully informed in your care as they will give you the best evidence based treatment.

I was diagnosed with stage 4b cooon cancer in 2021 and they were able to remove the tumor in my colon and the spot in my lung and have had clean scans for 4 years. You got this man LFG

There have been huge improvements in cancer treatment. Take everything one day at a time. My hubby was diagnosed 5 yrs ago with stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to his brain. We had no clue, he wasn’t even sick. He’s been in remission for almost 5 yrs. ❤️

Hang in there young man! I was diagnosed a year ago with stage 4 ovarian cancer. It’s not gone yet but I’m back to work and feeling pretty good. The future may seem dark but there is light from the love and friendship that are about to flow your way! Sending good vibes.

We have the same diagnosis. I started chemo on Monday. It’s shocking I’m 3 weeks in. First round of chemo was intense. We just got to beat this. I’m 47 I’m not going to let this win. Let’s figure out how to get to Ned!!

Diagnosed stage 4 in 2018. Lung Mets. Chemo surgeries RT ablations Scans were clean last go around. Treat it like a chronic disease. You got this!!

A cancer diagnosis is life changing. Like you said, everything else doesn't matter anymore except your fight to stay alive. Don't be afraid to lean on your loved ones who are sticking by you. Chemo is rough but I'm almost done with my 12 rounds and I'm already coming back NED. I was Stage 3 adenocarcinoma that later metastisized to my ovaries. Keep fighting! KFG! 💙

I’m so sorry. I also have metastatic cancer from melanoma(weird), I was on liver transplant until this other ‘issue’ showed up. Ports not too bad. Endoscopy & colonoscopy not bad, you’re asleep! You will be fast tracked, bills, before insurance, is a crime tho! I will be praying for you, keep your head up❤️
