I would totally agree if it weren’t for the fact that if they have an audience they not only refrain from most of the abuse, they start treating you normally, respectfully etc. Also, the smirk and satisfaction they have when they have pushed you to your limits or when they’ve succeeded in lying or manipulating someone. I think they know exactly what they are doing, always. Their whole life is a fake script
