@ I’m so grateful because my partner has been so wonderful about the whole process. She encouraged me to go to the dentist when I was petrified and went to every appointment with me and says I still look beautiful even if I don’t have my teeth because they hurt.

I got really depressed also but I have been sober for 14 years and this is not about me doing stupid stuff. The dentist said that wasn't the primary cause of what affected my teeth. I haven't done anything for over 14 years. It really was depression and I almost gave up. Also I have a vitamin D deficiency and I'm lactose intolerant. and have been going through tumors on my ovaries for a while. And I do have PTSD and ADHD OCD and all of that comes with a lot of depression and anxiety. And like I said before lots of bad genetics.

My gf has been so supportive of my denture journey. I told her about my planned surgery the first time we met. I’m nearly three weeks in and have no regrets. I will say however I have not let her see me without my dentures in. That may take some time😅

Have a great day, I recently got my upper denture and am trying to get used to them.They are pretty comfortable but I need to get into the habit of wearing them cuz I don't wear them very often. I'm 64 and am a homebody so it's easy for me to just go on about my day without them which is stupid cuz I'm never gonna get used to them if I don't wear them. I can't get my bottom until the first of next year because of my insurance so I only have a few teeth on the bottom and I look terrible even if I put the top in so I figure what's the difference. ohhh well have a great day you are awesome for helping us go through this process. 👍🏽🌻😁❣️
