@esther_loves_lucy3: Replying to @DB the only thing I’m excited about when this is all said and done are the psychological evaluations of MAGA I think we’re going to learn a lot about sociopathy and narcissism. Also education. #musicfestival

📍58 Plashet Rd, London E13 0RQ Steaks from £10 and burgers for £2.50. Madness. Well that's the offer this spot does on Monday's.. Monday Madess. I came across London Ribeye Steakhouse, that does 50% off selected items on Monday's so decided to check it out over the bank holiday. What I got. Prices with the discount / Black Angus Ribeye steak 12 oz £15 Black Angus Sirlion 12oz £15 Pulled Beef Burger £4.99 Fried Chicken Burger £2.50 (not pictured) Chips £1.50 Fries £1.50 6 peri wings £3 / I don't see how this place makes any profit on this menu. So the steak, I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much, as I judged this place based on the basic vibe and decor. But it wasn't bad at all! The style is more desi, seasoned with more more than the standard salt and pepper, I'm guessing it was marrienated in some spicy sauce. The steaks were thin It cut, I requested the Ribeye to be cooked medium rare and the Sirlion medium. Despite the thinness of the steak I was surprised that it was actually soft and tender. From personal experience it's not easy to cook a thinly cut steak soft, so I enjoyed it. This is by no means the type of steak I normally eat, it's a bit dated and reminiscent of steaks from 2010. But honestly and especially for the price it was decent. The rib eye looked more medium well, with no pink visible and the Sirlion had a little pink to It. Could I taste the natural beef? No. But I still liked it. This type of steak will appeal more to ones that like a bit of masala on their meat. I also tried a pulled brisket burger and ngl, it was good. Good quality bun, fresh ingredients and well made. The £2.50 chicken burger, amazingly is made fresh and made in a breadcrumb batter, it's thin and crispy but honestly, impressive for the price. The rest of the 50% off menu had loads of other stuff that I'd try , so I probably go back. But I have a feeling they might be a little busy next Monday after this review! This is no frills basic spot but the food is honest and thoughtful, if that makes sense. Also, it's fully halal and HMC certified. 🍉 Supporting drinks No music, quran and nasheeds played. Free Parking after 6.30pm only. I paid for my meal in full. Anonymous visit. Any questions please ask 👇 #halalfood #halalfoodlondon #halalsteak #cheapeats
