@tamsenfadal: I know this is a very nuanced conversation. I’ve preached it myself: if it’s not a hard yes, it’s a no… And I’ve been that type of person to say yes to everything and burnt myself out. But I’ve been thinking lately, especially as I age, community is everything and has got me out of my darkest times. It’s always the moments that I don’t feel like going to something that I end up being so happy I did. Sometimes friendship and community isn’t convenient, but it sure is necessary. What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them!
