Recipe: Ingredients: 2 garlic cloves 1 can of precooked white beans (13.4 oz / 380g), washed and drained 1/2 cup of tahini Pinch of salt 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil Juice from 1 small lemon 1/4 cup of cold water Garnish: A squeeze of ripe tomato 3-4 slices of red onion 3 slices of jalapeno pepper Pinch of za’atar Pinch of sumac Drizzle of olive oil Method: 1. In a small food processor, add all the ingredients except the water. 2. Blend it for 1 minute and add 1/4 cup of cold water. If it’s too thick you can add more water. 3. Spread it on a nice plate and garnish with a squeeze of vine tomato, slices of red onion and jalapeno, pinch of za’atar, sumac and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve it with pita bread. Enjoy!
