after my first amputation RBK I had calcitonin injections, 1 per day for 3 days , I haven't had phantom pain in nearly 5 years , even after my revision to KD

I prefer to call them phantom feelings haha, when I get them I look at where my leg was and then it's a case of mind over matter, if it's not there you can't feel it

I always get them hangnail or paper cut feels in mine, crunching my toes helps me

Fortunately, I never really have phantom pain. Very rarely do the nerves pinch, which is quite unpleasant.
