Their education system is pretty bad. Those ranking list are based on European companies. Europe, especially Western Europe, has a weird fixation with be better than America. Since none of them countries have been a serious global power in over a century.

I have friends from Paraguay and Brazil, they have never referred to themselves as “South Americans” or even “Americans” like Europeans do. There is no confusion when we refer to ourselves as Americans because we’re the only ones called that!

The country is not called "America" we have a tendency to shorten/abbreviate things & saying "America" when referring to the USA is a colloquialism that is universally accepted. The name of the country is the United States of America, the United States or the US for short. Google it, look on any official website of the United States Government or any US Government agency. The United States is the name & the US is geographically situated in the Americas. Hence the U.S.A. Please look it up, you are so confidently wrong.
