I can't listen to Musack after 9/11 without getting a panic attack.

The eeriest video was one of a man who called 911 and you hear him scream as the towers were falling…literally had nightmares as a kid

Never saw this video before. I worked 3 blocks away. I had just gotten off my bus and saw hundreds of papers floating in the sky. Everyone was going about their morning commute. I just thought someone left a window open and the papers flew out. I got to my office on the 56 floor and heard that a plane hit one of the towers. I went to the window facing the WTC and saw the second plane hit. That’s when I got my colleagues and ran out. We walked to the Seaport when we saw one of the buildings collapse and we began to run north to my apartment. I remember every second of that day still.

The background music is She’s Always a Woman by Billy Joel, which is such a gentle song playing in such a tense moment

Great way to describe it. Also, the beeping alarms on the firefighters underneath the rubble is heartbreaking.

when he looks up at the building and then back down...is that a human falling in the background near the corner of the building to the right? 😭

Nothing is more horrifying than the chirping sounds coming from the firemen after the collapse. It’s haunting

It’s like music they’d play in a mental hospital to chill everyone out. To drown out the chaos. So uneasy

How far away was this actually from the towers? This seems super close. Like way closer than someone would want to be

In the city that never sleeps that was so quiet. No horns honking, no every day crazy bustle. It’s like time stopped.
