Yeah. The horror of slavery is part of the point? Nobody is "deserving" of being enslaved, but the people that historically (and presently) enforced & benefitted from chattel slavery should be held to account. Hurt feelings =/= oppression, no matter how hard you try to pretend it is

So, makes me think I can guess how he feels about the Holocaust Museum, in spite of funding Israel. Because the whole point of the exhibits there and the exhibits on slavery are to be honest about the true horrors of racism.
