my scariest one is. me and my husband were doing door dash I'm downtown Dallas it was like 9pm we got an order for a women name precious and we were like whatever so we go and it's a bunch of apartments combined and my husband says I'll be so 5 minutes go by my husband isn't back I was like ok weird but not to weird well then 15 minutes go by.. at this point I'm trying to call him but he isn't answering. I'm looking around nothing. 45 minutes go by ... my husband comes out pale white hes like babe I wanna go and I don't wanna talk about it but he told me that he walked down a long hallway to an elevator and it took him to another floor with the longest hallway he's ever been in and he said he couldn't find the door he said babe idk what happened but it felt like forever like he said it felt like he was in there for hours . I've never seen him so scared . we don't door dash at night anymore and we don't talk about it.

My first week DoorDashIng got a delivery in the country the name on the order was a bunch of letters, call Customer they just kept repeating “ come a little further you’re almost here ” which was into the woods find you I’m in the Pine barrens! I turned around and told them I was driving to the police station to get directions. They abruptly hung up and messaged me that they were in a whole different state and that it was a mistake and I could keep the food. 😳 I reported it to DoorDash and police department

I was working for a CNA travel agency where we go and basically just help out whatever nursing home comes up. I usually did the 11 to 7 shift so one day this new assignment appeared so I clicked it because it was about a 15/20 minute drive versus my hour and 30 minute drive. I live in a more rural section of my state so let it be known it’s super dark, usually there’s maybe one or two street lights per like quarter to half mile or none at all when you get to “residential areas”. I pull up at this house. This is the address that my work gave me and I get out of my car. I felt like it was weird. I’m supposed to be going to a building in my mind and I just pulled up to this somewhat abandoned house, there were cars all around that were rundown, garbage everywhere. I’m standing on the porch getting ready to knock so that I can go in and something in My Heart just told me I’m not supposed to be there. so I took off and ran back to my car. As I look back, I’m Hearing and seeing somebody backing away from that door that I was about to knock on. I decided to call the nursing home that I’m supposed to be working for saying that I’m here and I’m uncomfortable because the setting doesn’t seem right. They ask for the address and I give it to them and tell me that in the wrong place and I need to get out of there. As I’m driving off, I look through my mirror, and some guy was just standing in the dark just in the middle of all these abandoned, broken down cars. I don’t know whether he came from inside the house, out of one of the cars, or if he was there the whole time but seriously seriously trust your gut. if you feel like you are in danger, it’s very likely that you are in danger, whether it is seen or unseen, you can feel it.

I remember I had this dream that I was doordashing and in the notes it asked me to bring the food to the back door and I thought okay not too weird but then they ended me and no cap I was doordashing and it was the same freaking house and in the notes it ASKED ME TO BRING IT TO THE BACK DOOR and I freaked out and left it at the front door and ran back to my car and stopped doordashing after that

I also had a scary experience but on the other end woman shouldn't doordash or any kinds of delivers at night period not safe but one night I was hungry this was around 10pm my son was asleep and I wanted a midnight snack and this guy had a weird name and the picture also and as he got close to my house he msged and said his at my door with my food can I open up I need to hand it to you I was talking to him thou the door and I said nah its okay just leave it and I will grab just go but kept on assisting that I direct take it from him i knew something wasn't right and I said im not opening the door just leave it its fine but he stood there for 5mins and I was scared to open the door even after he left just in case he was waiting outside the door so I thought you know what don't worry about the food I contract doordash and they refunded my money but next morning the food was at the door but I didn't wanna risk opening the door something told me you know whst dont worry about the food but it can be scary for us too im sorry for what people go though doing those delivers but both ways you gotta be careful

I have one of these stories. Not punchy but I took a pizza to a house across an abandoned insane asylum and the house was dark and I could only see a silhouette. I ran and left the pizza wo $ lol

I’ve done door dash before and you can message door dash if u don’t want to do the order after accepting if u don’t feel safe.

Maybe the yelling men left them vulnerable, or maybe the yelling men were a sort of warning so that they would already be nervous and not tale any chances at the abandoned house.
