@gagegouldingtv: 💔 Families lost 27 daughters and counselors in the Camp Mystic flood. Parents are now speaking out at the Texas Capitol, calling for mandatory safety reforms. “My daughter was stolen from us… not by an unavoidable act of nature, but by preventable failures,” said CiCi Williams-Steward. 🎥 Watch their stories.
Those babies died alone and terrified in the dark because those that are paid to keep the public safe were lazy and greedy.

I'm curious why parents sent their kids to a camp by a river. or why people at local RV parks felt it was safe to camp there... probably because it was a freak event for a river to rise 50 feet in 2 hours. cypress trees on our property had debris 47 feet high, and we are not even in a really low area. NO one knew what would happen. we had alerts ALL night, but we get flash flood alerts anytime we get rain over 1". why did parents not get their children ahead of time

This one falls on Texas lawmakers and state/local government, not the camp. Rip sweet girls ❤️

Every soul lost in Bubble Inn was the victim of a long series of short-sightedly poor decisions. Those girls deserved better!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏻 I’m heartbroken for these tortured parents 💔 and hope the Texas government can provide more than thoughts and prayers. Demand better!!

I’ve seen these places in person, these camps and rv spots are literally steps away from the river. That’s the beauty of them, that’s why people were camping there to take advantage of the river, no one took in the risk that went along with that choice. The river is a sleeping giant, to be surprised it woke is just weird to me. I guess I don’t get this blame game?

I just think of those kids being so scared, so panicked, in the dark, with no help, trying to figure out what’s going on. It’s a literal nightmare.

Preventable is right. Tragedy invokes change. Parents need to aware of the risks by using their common sense.
