This is why I always donate a pack of pads when I drop off my donations for the food bank, women shouldn’t be using the last couple of pounds in their bank account to buy pads and it’s something that’s so often overlooked when asking for donations

I work on a construction site, and I said to my manager “we should have a little emergency pack in the girls toilets with some pads and tampons etc” and he said “well what are you going to put in the men’s toilet then? It has to be even”. I didn’t like his answer so I went to one of the managing directors and asked HER and she thought it was a great idea so the project started supplying emergency packs in all the women’s toilets across our project 💅🏽

One of my fiancé’s coworkers (an EMT) brought in some menstrual products for the bathroom (it’s just a bathroom for everyone to use) and her superior told her to remove them because he “didnt want to look at them”. Mind you, he has a wife and kids.

People acting like this is a wild concept but Scotland the first country in the world to provide universal free access to period products like tampons and sanitary pads. More should take note!
