Ñõûręddįñē :
Hi all,
I’m a Civil Engineer with 7+ years of international experience across Algeria, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania (Zanzibar & Pemba Islands), working on infrastructure, industrial, and hospitality projects.
I’ve been involved in cement projects, pipelines, boreholes, water tanks, logistics parks, and hotel developments, with strong on-site and coordination experience .
My most recent role was Project Manager at BlueBay Hotels in Zanzibar. I’m currently back in Algeria working as a math teacher, While teaching has been a valuable experience,, but I’m now actively looking to return to international construction projects in (Europe, Middle East, or Africa).
Roles I’m targeting: Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager, Site Engineer, Site Agent / Section Head , Construction Manager / Assistant Construction Manager, Infrastructure Engineer, Civil Works Supervisor , Document Controller / Technical Office support , and I’m very flexible regarding location and travel. (I’ve previously worked on remote sites and islands, so relocation or frequent travel isn’t an issue).
Questions:
• Best job boards or recruiters for international construction roles?
• Companies that hire African / Middle East project experience?
• Tips for re-entering engineering after a short detour?
Thanks — any advice is appreciated.
