The baby my sister always babysits had to stop cold turkey, his mom got an infection and she had to get surgery and cant breastfeed anymore. He hated formula and the only one he ended up liking was the most expensive one 💔

Tried weaning at 2 years old... she decided to be done a few weeks before her 4th birthday. I would literally wake up to her helping herself to a midnight snack. It was a wild time. She is still my stubborn one.

I did the don’t ask, don’t offer method with my first. He self weaned by 2 1/2. If he didn’t ask, or try to nurse, I wouldn’t offer it. After 1 1/2, he was only nursing at nap and bedtime. After 2, it was only bed time.
