Throwback to a powerful morning with @empirecleancities where the future of sustainable transit met the urgent need for health equity. While the discussions centered on electric fleets, microgrids, and clean infrastructure, my mission was clear: advocate for a sustainable world that includes everyone. A truly “clean” city isn’t just about emissions it’s about accessibility, equity, and dignity. That means: Fighting for reliable transportation options for those traveling to doctors, clinics, and clinical trials. Ensuring clean air policies benefit communities disproportionately affected by pollution-linked autoimmune and skin conditions. Building bridges between sustainability leaders and health advocates so no one is left behind. I connected with incredible minds at @nyc_dot , @nyserda , and beyond-planting seeds for partnerships that can provide rides for clinical trial participants, expand paratransit electrification, and center people with chronic needs in the climate conversation.
