❤️ Her father was hundreds of kilometres above Earth. So Hyundai turned her handwriting into a message he could see from space. When 13-year-old Stephanie wanted to send a message to her astronaut father aboard the International Space Station, Hyundai came up with an extraordinary idea: Make the message so enormous that he could see it from orbit. At Nevada's Delamar Dry Lake, 11 Hyundai Genesis sedans were used to recreate Stephanie's handwritten message using nothing but tire tracks. But this wasn't random driving. Engineers used GPS coordinates, computer planning, precise vehicle paths, and carefully calculated positioning to guide the cars across the desert floor, reproducing the shape of her handwriting at an enormous scale. The final message read: “Steph ♥s You” The giant tire-track image covered an astonishing 5,556,411.86 square metres (5.56 km²)—large enough to become a Guinness World Records record for the largest tire track image. The message stretched roughly 5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide, with lines around 30 metres wide, allowing it to be visible from hundreds of kilometres away. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for. As the International Space Station passed over Nevada, Stephanie's father photographed the enormous message from orbit. What began as a handwritten note from a daughter became one of the most remarkable examples of technology being used to connect people across Earth and space. 11 cars. 5.56 million square metres. One handwritten message. And a father watching from orbit. ❤️🌎🚀 Sometimes technology isn't about making things faster or smarter... Sometimes it's about making love impossible to miss. 👇 If you could send one message to someone from space, what would you write? 📚 This content is shared strictly for educational purposes. 🎥 : Original campaign by Hyundai Motor Company — A Message to Space. 📩 DM for credit or removal.
