You need to provide nucleation sites for the larger crystals to grow. Seed the reaction by including some tiny crystals at the bottom and the larger crystals will grow on them

seed your reaction with selected crystal seeds from your previous run to let them grow. remove the outer layer of impuroties which let them stop growing in the first place before. such your crystals/seeds should go bigger and bigger.

is there a way to use one of the larger crystals as the matrix for the next growth? I've done that with other home made crystals to force larger crystalization but mines all chemical and water no heat
