jealousy would be OP going after Jake after she found out the wedding was called off. being protective is telling her exactly what's going on without sugarcoating it because she needed a reality check. if she didn't become straightforward about it, the girl would have just continued making excuses and state. She did that girl in favor and she humiliated herself staying with that person anyway. She just wanted somebody to blame so she didn't have to acknowledge her own faults. she's not a good friend I would just cut your losses OP.
