the moment people hear moderation, they automatically think it's in effort to change aesthetic automatically or reach some type of goal. I went back to the gym and right away ppl were giving me diet tips. when I said I'm just trying to keep my body active, I got the side eye 🙄

As someone who has had dozens of “weight loss journeys” and will never ever ever do it again, I can say that choosing the path of “softness and abundance” is probably the best way to be kind to yourself while trying to lose weight. Go you!!

this is something I’ve dealt with my whole life 😭 especially as a disabled person (no colon) like, yes I’m disabled and still eat what I want. no, I’m not going to stop. It’s all about moderation and not overdoing it. unlike those people, I’m actually kind to myself.
