i have a kobo libra colour (never owned an e reader before which is why I chose it) and I basically only use the buttons anyway it feels way nicer than using the touch screen to swipe to the next page

I bought a second hand paperwhite in 2012 which works perfectly. At this stage I have no idea what it even needs to happen for it to get damaged or start malfunctioning, it looks pretty indestructible. People rushing to buy the latest version of something they already have which still works is pure capitalist dystopia to me.

I heard that somehow someone’s kindle got “locked” because they had books from various websites like e.g oc…pdf, etc.. did you have any problems until now? Because I’m lowkey scared but I don’t really think it’s true

I think this will outlive most of the current Kindle models. I wish I got into Kindle when it was actually high quality and durable so it'll last me years too. My Basic broke less than a year after I bought it and I'm already extra careful woth my devices. 😞
