That was just a trial roll out, an experiment on how to do it better. Next cut CBA job cuts will be massive. This was not a failure watch the space and see what happens next. It’s unfortunate

im definitely not be an insider so im definitely not about to reveal any internal workings, but they are barely back pedaling- cba is still looking for every possible method to cut staff and become a "digital first" bank. almost all functions that the branch and humans can do are now being intentionally gates and or hidden from their own staff and they are being forced to use digital methods to complete customer query, even if its less efficient. use of digital channels has become a KPI for the employees, and those who dont meet the target get reprimanded.
of course, Im not an insider, so this is just me making things up, so definitely dont believe me.
