If you hate the way Jersey is, why not go to one of these big beautiful red states where you’re better aligned? Or is it because you know there are limited work opportunities, worse education, and dismal healthcare there? Do you think perhaps, taxes here make these things possible? As blue states contemplate cutting off their federal charity, you’re gonna find those same red states having to do this crazy thing called -tax its residents like blue states- so it can afford to operate without blue state dollars. Let blue states keep the other $2 /$3 dollars in federal funding and stop funding states that can’t afford to operate.
