Does no one understand that it went through many translations and there's a good chance one of them was either mistakenly misinterpreted or purposely misinterpreted? Plus it's hard to know exactly what the guy wants as it is mainly just one big book of figurative language

Y'know, growing up with church being a big part of my life. I became very confused very fast when I met other Christians outside my town/online and they're so hateful- Like... This is not what I was taught-? The Bible has a lot of references to being loving to everyone?? My church preaches about accepting everyone and everything, regardless of who they are and what they peactice??? Where did all the hate come from?????? I then learned that I grew up with a church that actually taught what Jesus preached. And I have since openly call out rude and/or spiteful Christians I meet in public by quoting the Bible until they have no ground to stand on. :3

i got outed by my school (dont ask me how she found out, she just told me one day) and my mom "accepted, but didnt support" and then went on a whole rant about how she had gotten the bad lottery with me but she was gonna accept it, then practically harassed me to know what i had thought about everyone close to me 😭
